Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and Red Bull KTM Tech3 have taken the covers off their new 2025 MotoGP bikes, revealing almost identical liveries that have become synonymous with the Austrian brand. This is also the first time since 2020 that all four RC16s will race under the iconic Red Bull KTM colors, a livery that was previously exclusive to the factory team and has represented KTM in MotoGP since 2017.
The factory team sees this as an exciting mix of experience and fresh talent as Brad Binder is joined by young talent Pedro Acosta. Meanwhile, Red Bull KTM Tech3 has undergone a complete transformation, not just in colors but also in riders. Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales will ride the RC16 for the first time, bringing new energy and ambition to the satellite team.
Brad Binder Ready for the Next Step
Six seasons into his MotoGP career, Brad Binder is feeling more determined than ever. Reflecting on his 2024 season, he sees it as a year of significant growth.
"It’s crazy to think this is already my sixth season in MotoGP. Last year, I probably learned more than ever before, and I feel that experience has made me a much better rider. My goal for 2025 is to take that knowledge and make a step forward to fight at the front. We’re not far off. We finished second in the Constructors’ Championship, so we only have one place left to climb. Seeing the hard work happening behind the scenes, I know we’ll get there."
Pedro Acosta: Ready to Challenge
After an impressive debut season, Pedro Acosta is stepping up to the factory team with confidence and clear focus.
"2024 was a great year, but we still have goals to achieve. I learned how to control a race and adapt to MotoGP, and now moving to the factory team is another dream come true. Having Brad as a teammate is a big advantage because of his experience. The two key areas for improvement in 2025 will be qualifying and the opening laps—last year, we had the pace to fight for podiums, but our struggles in those early moments cost us. If we can refine those aspects, we’ll be in the mix."
Enea Bastianini Excited for a Fresh Start
Enea Bastianini is eager to start his new chapter in racing with Red Bull KTM Tech3, but he knows patience will be key in the opening races.
"I’m really curious and excited for this season. We have to stay calm at the beginning because it’s important to understand the bike and team dynamics. But I’m motivated, and I believe by the third or fourth race, we can be competitive. When I first rode the RC16, I immediately felt its potential—it’s impressive how you can push the bike into corners, and the gearbox is lightning fast. It’s an exciting challenge."
Maverick Viñales Feels Right at Home
For Maverick Viñales, wearing the Red Bull KTM colors is a dream come true, and his first impressions of the bike have been nothing short of exciting.
"Since I was a kid, I’ve seen Red Bull KTM in motocross and racing, so being part of this team feels amazing. My first thought when I rode the KTM RC16 was, ‘Wow, this is a beast—it’s fast!’ Speed is crucial in modern MotoGP, especially in the opening laps. Switching to a new bike requires focus and adaptability, but from my first moments on the KTM, it felt like home. The way it suits my riding style, especially entering corners, gives me a lot of confidence. My objective is to stay fully focused and perform at my best from the very start."
KTM’s Continued Commitment to MotoGP
Beyond the new liveries and line-ups, KTM has confirmed its long-term vision for MotoGP. The KTM GP Academy remains an important part of the brand’s portfolio, nurturing young talent from the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup through Moto3, Moto2, and ultimately to the premier class of MotoGP.
