Grandstands A + T1 (Turn 1)

  • Pros: Great for seeing first-lap action and overtakes as drivers brake hard into Turn 1.
  • Cons: Limited view of the rest of the circuit, focusing mainly on the opening corner.

Grandstand B (Turn 12)

View: Positioned at Turn 12, this grandstand is located in one of the track’s more technical sections as drivers prepare for the final turns.

  • Pros: Excellent for viewing the cars in a slower, more controlled section, with potential for overtakes.
  • Cons: No view of the start/finish line or fast-paced straights.

Grandstand C (Turn 13)

View: Offering a close-up of the final corners, this grandstand gives a glimpse into how drivers tackle the last few turns before the start/finish straight.

  • Pros: Strategic driving can be seen as drivers set up for the final sprint to the finish.
  • Cons: Limited overtakes in this section, mainly a positioning area.

Grandstand E (Near Turn 1)

View: Situated near Turn 1, Grandstand E offers a close-up of the action as drivers charge into the first corner after the main straight.

  • Pros: One of the best spots for viewing overtakes into Turn 1, especially in the opening laps.
  • Cons: You miss out on the rest of the circuit, as the action focuses mainly on Turn 1.

Grandstand F (Near Turn 1)

View: Located mear Turn 1, Grandstand F gives fans a view of drivers navigating Turn 1 and positioning their cars for the faster Turn 2 and beyond.

  • Pros: Close-up view of wheel-to-wheel battles at Turn 1 and fast exit from Turn 2. In terms of value for money, this grandstand is certainly one of the most appealing options at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
  • Cons: While action is intense in the first laps, it may slow down after the initial phase of the race.

Grandstand G (Turns 12-13)

View: Situated between Turns 12 and 13, this grandstand provides views of drivers navigating a series of corners in the last sector. From the best seats in this grandstand, you can see 5 chicanes plus the pit lane.

  • Pros: Good for watching technical driving and positioning.
  • Cons: Lacks the high-speed excitement found in other parts of the track.

Grandstand H (Last Corner)

View: Overlooking the last turn of the circuit, the grandstand is ideal for watching the cars enter the start&finish line.

  • Pros: This stand is highly popular because there’s no fence obstructing the view, making it an excellent spot to watch the last chicane.
  • Cons: No view of any technical and slower sections of the track.

Grandstand J (On the Main Straight, Before Turn 1)

View: Positioned along the main straight, just past Turn 1, Grandstand J provides views of cars accelerating on the main straight and then braking into Turn 1.

  • Pros: Combines the view of the start/finish straight and the first corner entrance, giving you a mix of fast-paced action.
  • Cons: Not close to the overtaking hot zones, though Turn 1 provides some opportunities.

Grandstand K (On the Main Straight, Before Turn 1)

View: Like Grandstand J, Grandstand K is located along the main straight, but closer to Turn 1, giving you a head-on view of cars approaching the first corner.

  • Pros: Great for watching cars approach Turn 1 at high speeds. You'll feel the intensity of the start and first lap battles.
  • Cons: Once the initial excitement dies down, you’ll miss the majority of the race's technical action.

Grandstand L (Turn 5)

View: Positioned near Turn 5, this grandstand allows fans to see drivers take on a mid-speed corner following the initial rush from Turn 1.

  • Pros: Offers decent overtaking opportunities and a view of drivers navigating tight corners.
  • Cons: Not the fastest part of the track, so action is slower here.

Grandstand M (Turn 5)

View: Located right in the middle of the hill that the track winds around. From this spot, you’ll have a clear view of the straight section just past the starting point, as well as the entire stretch between Turns 4 and 5.

  • Pros: Provides good chances for overtaking, so lots of action to see in this section.
  • Cons: Doesn’t provide access to the start/finish line and it’s not the fastest part of the circuit.

Grandstand N (Turn 9)

View: Positioned at Turn 9, a sweeping, fast right-hand corner transforming into a DRS zone straight.

  • Pros: Great view of high-speed cornering and drivers pushing their cars to the limit.
  • Cons: Few overtaking opportunities here.

Grandstand S (Turn 9)

View: Located near Turn 9, this grandstand offers a view of cars going into one of the fastest corners on the circuit.

  • Pros: Excellent vantage point for witnessing high-speed cornering and drivers pushing their cars to the edge.
  • Cons: Focused on a single section of the track, missing the more technical parts of the track.

Grandstand S2 (Near Turn 9 Entrance)

View: Positioned just before Turn 9, from these seats, you'll watch the cars exit Turn 8 and shortly after, swiftly maneuver into the sweeping Turn 9.

  • Pros: An ideal spot to watch intense high-speed cornering and exit of a more technical part at the same time.
  • Cons: No action from the start/finish line or major overtaking zones.

Grandstand T10 (Turn 10 – La Caixa)

View: Overlooking Turn 10, one of the prime overtaking spots on the circuit.

  • Pros: Excellent for overtakes and tight cornering action.
  • Cons: Focus is mainly on one corner, missing out on longer sections of the track.

Main Grandstand / Principal (Start-Finish)

View: Positioned directly along the main straight, the Principal grandstand provides an excellent view of the start/finish line and the pit lane.

  • Pros: Perfect for race starts, finishes, and pit-stop action. The energy is incredible in this area.
  • Cons: Limited view of other corners, and the straight may lack action apart from the start and finish.

VIP Rooftop

View: Perched on top of the circuit's newest architectural masterpiece, the rooftop lounge offers an impressive vantage point overlooking the track. This premier location delivers the most breathtaking views of the entire circuit.

  • Pros: Ultimate comfort with high-end amenities and all-round circuit visibility.
  • Cons: Comes at a significantly higher price than regular grandstands.

General Admission

General admission provides flexibility for fans to explore different sections of the track. The general admission areas (green bits on the map), scattered throughout the circuit, offer a variety of perspectives but come with limitations in terms of seating comfort and guaranteed views.

  • Pros: Flexibility to roam the circuit and watch from different spots. It is the most affordable option.
  • Cons: No guaranteed seating, so it’s first-come, first-served. Visibility can be restricted depending on crowds and fencing.

SO WHICH OPTION IS THE BEST FOR THE 2025 SPANISH GRAND PRIX?

For High-Speed Drama: The Main Grandstand and Grandstands F, E, K, J provide the best view of the high-speed start/finish line.

For Overtakes: Grandstands A, C, L, T1 and T10 offer prime views of some of the track's best overtaking opportunities.

For Flexibility: General Admission allows fans to experience different parts of the circuit on a budget but requires early arrival for the best spots.

For Comfort and Amenities: The VIP Rooftop areas are perfect for those looking for luxury and panoramic views.
