Francesco Bagnaia – Interview
Pecco Bagnaia feels better after the Argentina race. He mentioned that he has been training more and analyzing his performance with his manager and trainer to improve for the next race. Heading into the weekend, he remains calm and focused on steady progress. Bagnaia identified his main mistakes as misjudging corner entry and exit speed, areas he aims to improve. He also spoke about the new Ducati bike, highlighting its strong potential, as seen in Marquez’s performances. Despite COTA and Argentina being challenging circuits for him, Bagnaia is determined to fight hard from Friday onward.

Pedro Acosta – Interview
Acosta expressed the need for KTM to assess their position realistically. He stated that he joined KTM with a clear dream, which is yet to be fully realized. However, he remains committed to pushing forward, acknowledging that it is a difficult goal but one worth striving for with patience.

Press Conference with Ai Ogura, Alex Marquez, Marc Marquez, and Franco Morbidelli

  • Marc Marquez: He emphasized that he and his team are in a great starting position this season and that he feels increasingly comfortable with them. Despite the strong performances, he remains cautious, recalling that his only major mistake in 2019 occurred at COTA. Marquez introduced his special helmet design, inspired by American car and bike creators.
  • Alex Marquez: He stated that he is in excellent shape this season and feels increasingly in control of his bike. While COTA has not been his best track in the past due to previous mistakes, he believes this weekend could be different. His team follows a philosophy of starting from zero each race weekend and maximizing points consistently. He acknowledged Marc’s dominance at COTA and emphasized the importance of focusing on the fastest riders while also maximizing his own potential.
  • Franco Morbidelli: Fresh off his Argentina podium, Morbidelli expressed excitement and praised his team for their incredible progress. He acknowledged that catching up to the frontrunners, especially Marc and Alex Marquez, would be challenging but remains optimistic about maintaining his strong form.
  • Ai Ogura: The only rookie in the press conference, Ogura shared his excitement about racing in the U.S. and Argentina. He reflected on a solid result in Thailand but anticipated a tougher challenge in Argentina. Ogura expressed admiration for MotoGP’s competitive environment and is determined to give his best effort at COTA, despite acknowledging it as one of the toughest circuits for him.
