Marc Márquez showcased his brilliance at the Gran Premi de Aragón, securing pole position with an outstanding lap time and claiming his first Sprint victory by a nearly three-second margin. Jorge Martin and Pedro Acosta also impressed, but Francesco Bagnaia struggled in a crucial weekend for the Championship.
QP
Marc Márquez has secured pole position at the Gran Premi de Aragón with an outstanding lap time of 1:46.776. The Spanish rider finished qualifying with a 0.840-second lead over the rest of the field, marking the largest pole margin since the 2011 Valencia Grand Prix. Pedro Acosta will start alongside Márquez after an impressive lap performance. Acosta, who advanced from Q1, made significant improvements on his final lap in Q2, placing him ahead of Francesco Bagnaia. Bagnaia will start from third, still ahead of his title rival.

The Q1 session was thrilling to watch, with challenging conditions and only two spots left for Q2. The session concluded dramatically, with Brad Binder and Acosta taking the two spots, pushing Enea Bastianini to fourth, meaning the rider will start from 14th. As Q2 began, Jorge Martin suffered an early crash at Turn 5 within the first five minutes of the session. Marc Márquez set the benchmark with a time of 1:47.478 on his first run. His time held until the final minutes, where Márquez further improved, becoming the only rider to break into the 1:46 range. The battle for the front row intensified as Martin returned to the track, and both Bagnaia and Acosta improved their times.
Jorge Martin overall qualified fourth. Despite an eventful session, the rider will start next to Alex Márquez in fifth position. Franco Morbidelli rounded out the second row.

Brad Binder will lead the third row after qualifying seventh. The rider will line up alongside Miguel Oliveira and Raúl Fernández, who continued to impress throughout the weekend. Further back on the grid, Aprilia had a challenging session, with Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales starting 11th and 12th. Marco Bezzecchi, Bastianini, and Jack Miller will fill the fifth row on the grid.
SPRINT
Marc Márquez had an amazing Saturday, as he claimed his first Sprint victory. The Spanish rider was untouchable at Aragón, setting the fastest lap of the Sprint and crossing the finish line nearly three seconds ahead of the entire grid. This marked a pivotal moment in the championship.

Jorge Martin finished second, earning himself nine points for his championship bid. Pedro Acosta continued to impress with his third-place finish, while Francesco Bagnaia struggled, managing to earn just one point with his ninth-place finish. As the Sprint began, Márquez got off to a flying start, while Bagnaia dropped down the order due to a poor launch. Drama unfolded at Turn 1 as Aleix Espargaró crashed out, followed by Johann Zarco, who also failed to complete the opening lap due to a fall.

Márquez wasted no time in setting a blistering pace, attempting to create a gap from Jorge Martin. Márquez clocked the fastest lap, while Martin became the only Pramac rider in the race as Franco Morbidelli crashed out. Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta held tight to his podium position, aiming to convert his front-row start into a top-three finish. Brad Binder managed to close the gap on Bagnaia by Lap 4 and overtook him on Lap 6.
The Championship standings shifted as Martin reclaimed the title lead, while Bagnaia faced pressure from Fabio Quartararo and Raúl Fernández for the final point-scoring position. Enea Bastianini soon joined the battle, overtaking Fernández and jumping to P7 after Bagnaia and Quartararo went wide.
Overall, the top three positions remained unchanged throughout the Sprint race. Alex Márquez finished fourth, followed by Miguel Oliveira in fifth. Fabio Quartararo took P8, as the French rider had an impressive Sprint race, starting from P17 and climbing to P8. Bagnaia, who found himself in a last-lap duel with Marco Bezzecchi, finished in ninth.
