Although the last practice session of the weekend was held in daylight, the temperatures and conditions were still quite similar to what they’ll face in qualifying later in the evening.

Gabriel Bortoleto was back on track after missing FP2 yesterday due to a fuel leak. Sauber gave him a new chassis, and he was the first to set a proper lap. However, other drivers weren't really in a rush to get on track. George Russell and Carlos Sainz were even spotted enjoying a snack while waiting for the right moment to head out.

Once the action picked up, McLaren were straight back on top. Oscar Piastri set the pace early with a fast lap of 1:29.118, and his teammate Lando Norris was right behind him, just under a tenth slower.

Yuki Tsunoda returned to the track after his crash in FP2 and thanked his team over the radio for repairing the car in time. At the halfway point, the top five were Piastri, Norris, Verstappen, Leclerc, and Tsunoda.

Jack Doohan was then noted for crossing the white line at pit entry as no part of the car is meant to go over that line. He will be investigated by the stewards after the session.

In the second half of the session, everyone switched to soft tyres for their final quick laps. McLaren continued to show strong pace. Piastri set an impressive lap of 1:27.513, but Norris responded at the very end with a time of 1:27.489 to finish fastest overall.

Russell put in a good lap for Mercedes to go third, though he was still more than six tenths off Norris. Verstappen wasn’t happy with his car and complained about “weird engine braking.” He also had a moment with Lewis Hamilton, who went off track just in front of him. Verstappen ended up nearly nine tenths off the top. Hamilton, meanwhile, struggled throughout and stayed over a second behind the leaders.

There was another odd incident during the session involving Isack Hadjar. He reported water flying around inside his helmet due to a problem with his car’s drinks system. It made things uncomfortable for him and was clearly a distraction.

In the final moments, the order at the top didn’t change. Norris stayed ahead of Piastri by just two hundredths of a second. Russell held third, Verstappen was fourth, and Leclerc fifth. The rest of the top ten included Alex Albon in sixth, Carlos Sainz in seventh, Pierre Gasly in eighth, Tsunoda in ninth, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli in tenth.
