The reigning champion Jorge Martin has shown positive signs of his recovery. He even visited the team during the Americas Grand Prix, where he was seen acting like an engineer, helping out in the garage. Fans saw him smiling and speaking confidently throughout the weekend, and now he’s shared more good news about his condition.

Martin recently visited the Quirón Medical Centre in Barcelona for a check-up. But this wasn’t just a routine visit — Aprilia Racing later released a positive update about the results. According to the team’s report, the X-ray showed that the bone in his wrist is healing well. Going into more detail, a bone callus has formed around his scaphoid fracture, which is a natural sign that the body is rebuilding the bone. The screws used in his wrist surgery are also perfectly in place and not causing any problems.

If you’re not familiar with Martin’s injury, he fractured his scaphoid — a small but very important bone in the wrist. Unfortunately, this kind of injury usually takes a long time to heal due to poor blood flow in that area, so his fast progress is a big deal. Athletes with this type of fracture often face long recovery periods, so these signs of improvement are very encouraging for Martin.

Although it’s still uncertain whether he will race at the upcoming Qatar Grand Prix, Martin has said he plans to travel there to support the team. Another medical check is scheduled for next week, where doctors will decide if he is fit to race. MotoGP rules require official medical clearance before a rider can return to competition.

If Martin does manage to race in Qatar, it would be an incredibly fast return — just a few weeks after surgery. Fans around the world will be waiting to see what happens. For now, we can only hope for more good news in the days ahead.
