1. Arrive Early

The Italian Grand Prix is one of the most popular events on the F1 calendar. Arriving early will ensure you get a good spot, especially if you have general admission tickets. It also gives you time to explore the circuit and soak in the pre-race atmosphere. On race day, the roads leading to the circuit will be extremely busy, so make sure you go early on Sunday.

2. Bring Ear Protection

The sound of F1 cars is exhilarating but also extremely loud. It's a good idea to bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones, especially if you're with kids, to protect their hearing.

3. Stay Hydrated and Bring Some Food

While there are food and drink stalls around the circuit, the lines will be long. Keep in mind that if you want to buy any food or drink there, you'll need to exchange money for tokens to pay. Also, don’t forget to bring a refillable water bottle (there are water stations) and pack some snacks to keep you energized throughout the action.

4. Prepare for the Weather

The weather can change rapidly, so pack a light rain jacket even if the forecast shows no rain. Since it’s going to be a hot weekend, don’t forget to take a hat and sunscreen. Additionally, while the day may start warm, the weather can cool down in the evening, so having a light jacket will be useful.

5. Bring a Portable Charger

With a long day at the track, your phone battery will drain much quicker due to taking photos, videos, and navigating to the circuit. Don’t forget to bring a fully charged power bank to keep your devices powered up throughout the day.

6. Plan Your Transport

To get to Monza, you can either use public transport or drive. If you’re using public transport, you have nothing to worry about. Monza is well-connected, with frequent trains from Milan and surrounding areas. The Monza train station has shuttle buses running to the circuit throughout the race weekend. This is the most convenient way to avoid traffic jams and parking issues.

If you’re driving, book your parking spot in advance. The official parking lots near the circuit fill up early, and securing a spot ensures you're close to the entrance. Be prepared for a walk from the parking area to the circuit. You can book parking HERE!.

7. Know the Track Layout

Familiarizing yourself with the track layout before you arrive will help you navigate the area. You’ll know where the facilities are, such as restrooms, food stalls, and merchandise stands. This will also help you find your grandstands and save time when planning to move between different parts of the circuit during the day.

8. Plan Your Exit Strategy

After the race, the traffic will be crazy, as thousands of spectators leave the circuit. If you’re driving, consider leaving a bit before the end of the race if you’re not too concerned about missing the final laps. If you’re using public transport, be prepared for crowded trains and buses.

9. Accommodations

Consider staying in Monza or nearby areas like Biassono to reduce travel time to the circuit. Local accommodations should be booked in advance, and staying close allows for more flexibility in your schedule. More accommodations ideas HERE!.
