Despite the attention in Italy being mostly on Ferrari and their 2025 car debut at the Fiorano circuit, Racing Bulls was busy running their shakedown at Imola.

Just 87 kilometers from Ferrari’s Fiorano track, where the Scuderia took its first laps with the SF-25 in the morning, another Italian-based team also made its on-track debut with its 2025 car as Racing Bulls hit the track at Imola, marking the first run of their VCARB02.

It was Yuki Tsunoda who had the honor of driving the new machine, completing a shakedown session at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Later in the day, rookie Isack Hadjar is also reportedly scheduled to get behind the wheel, with both drivers set to return to action during winter testing in Bahrain from February 26 to 28.

The new car noticably takes a lot of ideas from Red Bull’s design, using the same suspension layout, gearbox, and the RB20’s unique ‘shark-mouth sidepods.’

Interestingly, as reported by Italian publication Autoracer.it, the team was initially set to hit the track on Monday. However, to prevent any premature leaks of the car’s new look before its official unveiling during yesterday's F1 75 Live event in London, they decided to delay the shakedown to Wednesday.
