MotoGP has made its way to Indonesia for the highly anticipated Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia. The skies were clear for FP1, and Franco Morbidelli kicked things off in style, setting the fastest lap with a 1:30.689. The Italian improved on his final flying lap. Right behind him was Maverick Viñales, who completed the most laps of the session.

Championship leader Jorge Martin had a solid start, taking P3 and trailing his teammate by half a second. Pedro Acosta, experiencing Mandalika for the first time, grabbed fourth place, just ahead of Johann Zarco, who briefly led the session.

Marc Marquez finished sixth, while Marco Bezzecchi took seventh. Enea Bastianini found late improvement, jumping to eighth. The top ten was rounded out by Luca Marini and Fabio Di Giannantonio, who completed nearly 20 laps.

Further back, Francesco Bagnaia struggled to find his rhythm and ended in 14th as he looks to redeem himself after a disappointing Emilia-Romagna GP. It was a tough session for Miguel Oliveira, who suffered a severe highside and ended the session in P22.
