News.GP journalist who’s all about the thrilling worlds of MotoGP and Formula 1.Alpine, renowned for its successes in Formula 1 and WEC, partners with Pramac Racing for the 2025 MotoGP season. This collaboration follows Pramac’s remarkable 2024 championship win with Jorge Martin, marking a groundbreaking entry for the French marque into MotoGP.
Alpine has announced a partnership with Pramac Racing for the 2025 MotoGP season. The French company, known for its success in Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship (WEC), will become the Italian team's main partner.
This exciting partnership comes after Pramac’s stunning 2024 success, where Jorge Martin clinched the MotoGP championship. It was a historic achievement, as he won the title with a satellite team—the first time since Valentino Rossi’s 2001 triumph with Honda.
While Prima remains Pramac’s main title sponsor, Alpine’s entry signals a major shake-up. The collaboration stems from the strong ties between Renault CEO Luca de Meo and Pramac team principal Paolo Campinoti. De Meo’s history of pairing automotive giants with MotoGP teams dates back to his leadership at the Fiat Group, where he initiated the cooperation with Yamaha between 2007 and 2010.
Campinoti expressed his enthusiasm for the deal, stating:
"I am very proud of the start of this collaboration with Alpine, a historic brand that is now also a major player in F1 and WEC. This is the first time a manufacturer from the world's premier racing series has made such an important entry into MotoGP. The fact that Alpine has chosen Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP is a testament to what we’ve built over the years."
The partnership also aims to connect with fans on a new level, as Alpine’s director of sales and marketing, Antonino Labate, explained:
"This alliance will create new experiences for customers and fans passionate about motorsport. Alpine and Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP share not just common values but also the same spirit: the passion for performance."
The 2025 season marks a turning point for Pramac Racing as it re-aligns with Yamaha after parting ways with Ducati following a stellar 2024 season. The team, featuring riders Miguel Oliveira and Jack Miller, promises an exciting season ahead. Fans won’t have to wait long to see the new look of Pramac, as the livery reveal is set for January 31.
