Williams revealed a retro livery for the next two F1 Grand Prix weekends featuring the iconic yellow and blue colours.
As part of a promotional campaign with one of its sponsors, Williams will showcase a special livery at the next two races in Mexico and Brazil.
The team will bring back their yellow engine covers, a design they used during their most successful Formula 1 years between 1983 and 1993.
The Bristish stable described the change as “a nod to the team’s championship-winning heritage,” making a trip back to a period that saw them win 55 grands prix as well as three drivers' and constructors' championships.
A splash of yellow will be introduced to the familiar blue and black design that’s been used all season. The special livery also includes Mercado Libre's yellow branding on the engine cover.
James Bower, Commercial Director, Williams Racing said: “Williams Racing and Mercado Libre are two brands synonymous with speed, trust and innovation, and this eye-catching engine cover is the perfect way to celebrate our partnership.
“Yellow livery designs hold a special place in Williams’ storied history and it is great to see the colour return to our cars with one of Latin America’s leading technology companies.”
History made. History in the making.

Williams heads to the Mexican Grand Prix, looking to improve its points tally after rookie Franco Colapinto secured a 10th-place finish at the US Grand Prix last week.
The next two races are the closest to Argentina, Colapinto’s home country, where he looks forward to seeing many fans.
Unfortunately, he is one of the few drivers, who don’t get a home race, as Argentina last hosted a round of the world championship in 1998 at a permanent circuit in Buenos Aires.
In Mexico, Colapinto will also wear a special helmet design inspired by Carlos Reutemann, the last Argentinian driver to win an F1 race, who raced for Williams from 1980 to 1982.
