The season finale comes down to this weekend. After 19 Grands Prix across the globe, MotoGP returns to Barcelona for the Solidarity Grand Prix. By Sunday evening, the world will have a new champion—or possibly even sooner on Saturday. Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia will battle for this season's title, but the question remains: who will secure the crown?

Martin enters the grand finale with a 24-point lead and a streak of strong performances. Yet, despite his dominant pace, every millimeter matters now. In a race like this, those millimeters can mean the difference between triumph and disaster.

For Bagnaia, it’s all or nothing. The reigning champion knows he must take risks to catch Martin, especially in these do-or-die moments. Will Martin hold on to the title, or will Bagnaia shift the balance and take the crown?

But this isn’t the only rivalry on the grid. Martin and Bagnaia will have to keep an eye on Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez, as both could play key roles in the championship outcome. In Malaysia, Bastianini finished just off the lead, while Marquez struggled with his pace. For Martin, having both riders out of contention would be ideal, but Bagnaia could use any advantage to keep Martin within reach. Everyone knows Bagnaia needs all the help he can get to close the gap.

At this stage of the season, more riders could enter the spotlight. Pedro Acosta might aim for a podium, while Brad Binder has been consistently performing well. Even Maverick Viñales, who will be competing in his final race with Aprilia, could play a crucial role in the championship.

Loyalties will be tested. Alex Marquez will want to build on his strong performance in Malaysia, while Marco Bezzecchi seeks a comeback after his recent struggles. Meanwhile, Michele Pirro will step in for Fabio Di Giannantonio.

This weekend promises action. Aleix Espargaro will close his career as he retires, and Raul Fernandez will aim for a strong finish. Miguel Oliveira will return for one final race with Aprilia, while Jack Miller and Augusto Fernandez will also bid farewell to their current teams before moving on to new ones next season.

For some, it’s the end of an era; for others, it’s one last push before a new chapter begins. But for the 2024 season, this is it: one weekend, a championship battle, and 37 points on the line. Don’t miss out on what promises to be an unforgettable finale.
