Big changes are coming to MotoGP! From 2027, Pirelli will become the official tyre supplier for the series. This deal, which will run until 2031, marks the beginning of a new era as MotoGP introduces updated bikes and technical rules.
With Pirelli as the main tyre provider, riders will have a clear path to develop their skills from lower categories all the way to the top. More details about the specific tyres and allocations should be revealed soon.
Pirelli already supplies Moto2, Moto3, and other junior racing series. Now, they will expand their role to be included in MotoGP and MotoE, which is the electric motorcycle world championship.
Until the end of 2026, Michelin will continue to supply for MotoGP and MotoE. For the next two seasons, Michelin will keep delivering top-quality tyres to ensure safety and high performance.
Michelin has also been part of electric motorcycle racing and will stay committed to MotoE until 2025 and 2026. They plan to push forward with innovations and make their tyres even more sustainable by increasing the use of recycled and renewable materials.
