Pedro Acosta recently joined a group of ex-MotoGP riders to compete in an endurance race on challenging terrain this week.

Acosta decided to enjoy his break by participating in Enduroc 2024, held in Spain. This two-wheeled competition marked the end of Acosta’s racing season.

However, he wasn’t the only rider with MotoGP or World Superbike Championship ties to take on the challenge. Remy Gardner, Carlos Checa, and David Checa also participated among the hundreds of riders.

David Checa achieved the best result among them, finishing 16th. Gardner secured 23rd place, while Carlos Checa came in 33rd. Acosta gave it his all but finished in 68th place.

“Incredible experience, thank you,” Acosta reflected afterward.

The Enduroc featured a demanding 40km course, which riders had to complete twice, depending on their category. The 2024 edition was dominated by Josep Garcia, a specialist in enduro racing.
