MotoGP 2025 Pre-Season: Buriram to Host Both the Season Opener and Final Pre-Season Test

Buriram is set to play a pivotal role in the 2025 MotoGP season, not only by hosting the season opener but also by conducting the final pre-season test. The winter testing schedule will kick off in Valencia and conclude in Thailand, ensuring teams are ready to race in the highly anticipated new season.

It has been officially confirmed that Buriram will not only kick off the MotoGP calendar but will also host the final pre-season test. The winter testing schedule will begin with the traditional Valencia test on the Tuesday following the 2024 season finale. The action will then heat up early in 2025 with the Shakedown test, designed for test riders, rookies, and manufacturers with concession Rank D, who can also participate with their regular riders.

The full 2025 grid will make its debut at the official Sepang test. The final test before the season opener is scheduled to take place at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram.

Full dates

- Valencia Test: 19th November 2024
- Shakedown Test: 31st January – 2nd February
- Sepang Test: 5th February – 7th February
- Buriram Test: 12th – 13th February
