The 2024 MotoGP season finale, the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix in Barcelona, promises thrilling racing with a purpose. Fans attending the event will witness the Championship battle and directly support Valencia’s relief efforts through ticket sales, auctions, and donations.
MotoGP has officially confirmed that the season finale will be held in Barcelona, making it an event with a purpose. With the Championship on the line, and the weekend dedicated to supporting the community of Valencia, MotoGP unites to help those in need.
Tickets
Tickets for the Barcelona Grand Prix are now available. Barcelona was chosen as the finale venue with fans in mind, especially those who had planned to attend in Valencia. Fans can now secure tickets for the final round of 2024, while Valencia will offer refunds or allow tickets to roll over for use in 2025.
Additionally, a significant portion of ticket sales from the Barcelona Grand Prix will go directly to Valencia relief efforts. Simply by attending the event in Barcelona, fans have the chance to witness a thrilling sporting event while also supporting Valencia.
Auctions
Throughout the weekend, three auctions will take place: two onsite on Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and one online. MotoGP riders, racing legends, and VIPs will take the stage to auction items donated from across the paddock.
For fans worldwide, the online auction will feature unique items, such as Maverick Viñales’ Moto3 championship-winning bike. Details for the online auction, including the item list, will be announced soon on the official MotoGP website.
Donations
If you can’t attend or join the auction, you can still help by purchasing a special #RacingForValencia t-shirt, available on MotoGP platforms. All proceeds from these sales will go directly to supporting Valencia.
All funds raised from the weekend—from ticket sales to auction proceeds and donations—will be channeled through a dedicated MotoGP donation system. The total amount will be donated to La Cruz Roja, supporting communities in Valencia near the circuit.
