Marc Marquez started Sunday on a high note at the Qatar Airways Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, setting the fastest lap of the warm-up session with a blistering 1:27.812. The Gresini Racing MotoGP rider outpaced Francesco Bagnaia by just 0.047s, while Bagnaia’s teammate Enea Bastianini also impressed.
Marc Marquez kicked off Sunday in impressive fashion, topping the timesheets in the warm-up session. Marquez set the fastest lap of 1:27.812 as he prepares to launch from the front row of the grid. Marquez edged out Francesco Bagnaia by just 0.047s. Bagnaia’s teammate, Enea Bastianini, also had a strong morning, completing a successful session for Ducati. Australian polesitter Jorge Martin finished fourth, while local hero Jack Miller followed in fifth. Further down the order, Marco Bezzecchi ended the session in 21st place and received a Long Lap penalty after his crash during the Sprint.
