A Fresh Look
The team unveiled a striking new livery for the Desmosedici GP24 bikes, blending pastel blue with a bold new chromed tint that exudes confidence and sophistication. This refreshed aesthetic, described as "swaggering," reflects Gresini Racing's determination to compete at the front of the grid. The new rider lineup features Alex Marquez and MotoGP rookie Fermin Aldeguer, adding to the sense of renewed energy and ambition.
Honoring the Past
In addition to the reveal, the event paid tribute to Gresini Racing’s storied legacy and its late founder, Fausto Gresini. Attendees were treated to a journey through time, exploring a captivating history museum and a movie-themed tunnel that celebrated the team’s achievements and memorable moments. The highlight of the day came as Marquez and Aldeguer completed ceremonial laps around the Imola Circuit, a symbolic gesture linking past triumphs to future aspirations.
The Riders’ Opinions
For Alex Marquez, now entering his third season with Gresini, the event was a prelude to an eagerly anticipated year.
“I’m starting the third consecutive year with the team, and I must admit this winter was a very long one. The year finished on a high, and it’s almost time to return to action,” Marquez shared. “The new colors are incredible, and I hope everyone likes them. We’d love these colors to come with great results, and from my side, I did everything I could this offseason to be as physically and mentally prepared as possible for 2025.”
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Fermin Aldeguer reflected on the significance of the day, marking his official debut as a MotoGP rider.
“It is a first for me on several levels, and my first team presentation as a MotoGP rider,” Aldeguer said. “The new livery of the bike is fantastic and very aggressive, and I think it reflects well the spirit of this team, who for many years have proven to be a great institution. The desire to take to the track is high, but this unveiling is already a big step forward towards this 2025 season.”
