French Grand Prix secures place on the MotoGP calendar until 2031

The French Grand Prix will remain a key part of the MotoGP calendar until 2031, securing its status as one of the most exciting events in the sport. With record-breaking crowds and an electric atmosphere, Le Mans continues to set the standard for MotoGP weekends filled with racing and entertainment.

Le Mans made history with its record-breaking attendance in 2023 and then managed to outdo itself again in 2024. But this year, fans of the French Grand Prix have even more to celebrate, as it has been confirmed that the venue will remain on the calendar until 2031.

It is a tradition for fans to turn the French Grand Prix into an unforgettable experience, where they not only enjoy the race but also a weekend full of entertainment. And Le Mans keeps the excitement going, as it has set the bar high for MotoGP events in Europe.

Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports told MotoGP.com: “France already has an incredible legacy in motorsport, and we’re proud that our French Grand Prix has added to that at the same time as attracting a huge new wave of fans to the event, area and to the sport itself. We are the biggest sporting event in France and the grandstands reflect our growing and diverse audience, showcasing exactly what we want to see around the world as the sport continues to grow exponentially. France is a vital market for us and working with PHA Claude Michy, we couldn’t ask for more.”
