News.GP journalist who’s all about the thrilling worlds of MotoGP and Formula 1.Marc Marquez’s longtime sponsor, Estrella Galicia 0,0, has officially partnered with the Ducati MotoGP team. This exciting collaboration strengthens the brand’s presence in the racing world, bringing together top riders like Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia.
Marc Marquez’s longtime personal sponsor, Estrella Galicia 0,0, has officially partnered with the Ducati MotoGP team as their official beer sponsor.
This announcement came recently as Marquez made his debut with Ducati’s factory team. His sponsorship deals have been a major topic during the off-season, especially with the ending of his long-standing partnership with energy drink giant Red Bull. While Marquez will have the Monster Energy logo on his bike, as Monster is Ducati’s partner, he will not become an official Monster Energy athlete out of respect for Red Bull.
At Ducati’s team launch event, Marquez’s helmet was decorated with logos of Estrella Galicia 0,0 branding. Now, the Spanish beer company has confirmed an official deal with Ducati, strengthening their presence in MotoGP.
A Shared Passion for Racing
Jose Villanueva, the global director of content and sponsorship at Hijos de Rivera, expressed his excitement about this partnership. “We are thrilled to become the official beer of Ducati Corse, a legendary brand in motorcycle racing that shares our values of passion, excellence, and innovation,” he said.
Villanueva also highlighted the joy of supporting Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. “It’s special to reunite with Bagnaia, whom we supported in the lower categories, and to continue our journey with Marquez, who has been part of our story for more than a decade.”
Bagnaia had been previously sponsored by Estrella Galicia 0,0 during his early racing days from 2010 to 2012. The brand has long been involved in MotoGP, sponsoring several riders.
Despite the new partnership, Estrella Galicia 0,0 logos will be absent on Marquez’s helmet and Ducati’s bike during the French Grand Prix due to local advertising restrictions on alcohol brands.
Beyond MotoGP, Estrella Galicia also sponsors other athletes, like Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz.
Ducati Welcomes the New Partnership
Mauro Grassilli, Ducati’s team sporting director, shared his enthusiasm for the deal. “We are excited to welcome Estrella Galicia 0,0 into the Ducati universe and our MotoGP team,” he said. “They have supported young talents for years, helping them reach the top level of racing. Having such a strong motorsport sponsor join our project is truly exciting.”
With this new partnership, Estrella Galicia 0,0 and Ducati look forward to celebrating victories together in the upcoming MotoGP season.
