The 2024 MotoGP season heats up as the Ducati Lenovo Team secures the Teams’ Championship after a stellar showing at the Thai GP, thanks to riders Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin from Prima Pramac Racing takes the Independent Riders' title and currently leads the MotoGP World Championship. With just two rounds remaining, Prima Pramac Racing is now aiming for the 2024 Independent Teams’ Championship as the season finale approaches.
With the title battle now underway, the Ducati Lenovo Team has officially won the 2024 Teams’ Championship following their outstanding performance at the Thai Grand Prix. Powered by the impressive efforts of Francesco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini, Ducati Lenovo has now gathered 781 points this season, along with 11 Grand Prix victories, establishing a 173-point lead over their closest competitors, Prima Pramac Racing.
Meanwhile, it was also a pivotal weekend for Jorge Martin, who claimed the Independent Riders’ title in Thailand. Martin is now leading the MotoGP Championship with a 17-point advantage over Bagnaia. His recent P2 finish in Buriram added to his podium count and widened the gap over his nearest Independent rival, Marc Marquez.
Prima Pramac Racing’s ambitions continue as they now focus on the 2024 Independent Teams’ Championship in the upcoming round. The Italian team currently holds a 116-point lead over Gresini Racing, with only two rounds left.
