After a rain-affected FP1, Practice delivered an action-packed session. Brad Binder topped the timesheets with a 1:43.436 lap, setting his best time on his 20th lap. The KTM rider snatched the lead by 0.033s from Marc Marquez, who delivered a breathtaking last-minute flyer. Friday ended with Marquez edging out Jorge Martin for second place.

Drama unfolded early in the session, with Augusto Fernandez going down at Turn 10, followed by Enea Bastianini crashing at Turn 13. Meanwhile, Francesco Bagnaia showed impressive pace, taking an early P1 ahead of Martin before teams switched to their time attacks.

In the final 15 minutes, the track conditions intensified. Fabio Quartararo cracked the top 10, while Binder briefly held onto P1 before rookie rider Pedro Acosta delivered a quick lap. The times kept tumbling, with Bagnaia and Acosta clocking identical times before Binder laid down a lap in the low 1:43s. Acosta ended the day in fourth, while Bastianini recovered from his crash to secure fifth. Behind him, Maverick Viñales led the charge for Aprilia, finishing sixth.

Bagnaia finished seventh, followed by Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio, who secured a place in Q2 alongside his teammate Marco Bezzecchi.

Saturday's Q1 promises to be thrilling, with Jack Miller narrowly missing Q2 by 0.030s. The Aussie rider will join Japanese home hero Takaaki Nakagami and Franco Morbidelli in the fight.
