Jorge Martin is Out
Jorge Martin is still recovering from injury, and he will miss the upcoming race in the USA as well.
Francesco Bagnaia
After finishing third in Thailand, Bagnaia was caught on camera looking unhappy while discussing tyre issues with Ducati Corse boss Gigi Dall’Igna. However, when asked about it, he gave no clear answer, hinting that something beyond his control affected his overall performance. Argentina has never been a strong track for him, but he is still determined to improve and finally get a podium finish.
Marc Marquez
Marc Marquez dominated in Thailand, taking pole position and winning both races. He is leading the championship for the first time in a long while. Although he won in Argentina in 2019, Marquez warned fans that this weekend could be very different. The track conditions change throughout the weekend, meaning he must adapt. Still, he feels comfortable on his Ducati and is ready to fight.
Alex Marquez
Alex had a fantastic start in Thailand, finishing second in both the Sprint and Grand Prix. He is currently second in the standings, just behind his brother Marc. However, Alex admitted that Marc and Bagnaia are still half a step ahead of him. He is working hard to close the gap and believes that his first win isn’t far away.
Ai Ogura
Trackhouse rookie Ai Ogura isn’t expecting an easy weekend in Argentina. Even though he did well in Thailand, this track is less familiar to him. Without any pre-season testing here, it will be a tough challenge, but he is ready to learn and push himself.
With so many storylines developing, the Argentina Grand Prix is shaping up to be an exciting event!
