Excitement is building for the 2025 MotoGP season, with confirmed new circuits and six race dates already announced. While fans are eager for the full calendar, the mix of new and classic tracks promises an exhilarating season ahead.
It is rumored that the MotoGP calendar will be announced in the upcoming week, but in the meantime, let’s take a look at the confirmed changes for the upcoming season.
The 2025 calendar promises to deliver one of the most exciting seasons in recent history, with thrilling new circuits and beloved tracks returning. Building on the success of previous years, MotoGP organizers aim to announce a schedule that not only delights fans but also seeks to grow the sport in emerging markets. With possibly 21 races, the 2025 season will feature plenty of action, new challenges, and fresh experiences for fans and riders. The season opener will be held at the Buriram Circuit in Thailand.
One of the most anticipated aspects of the upcoming season is the addition of new circuits, especially those that mark the sport’s expansion. Among the confirmed additions are brand-new circuits like Hungary and Kazakhstan. The other three new circuits are in Argentina and the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic makes a welcome comeback, having signed a new contract until 2029.
However, there are circuits that will probably not feature in the upcoming season, as they are not confirmed for 2025. These circuits include the USA, Indonesia, Japan, and Malaysia. Additionally, Portugal will not be on the next season’s calendar, as it has been replaced by the Hungary circuit.
