Honda Racing Corporation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Romano Albesiano as the new Technical Director. Starting in 2025, Albesiano will take the lead on HRC’s MotoGP project and the development of the Honda RC213V machine, bringing over 30 years of racing expertise to the team.

Honda Racing has announced that Romano Albesiano will join as the new Technical Director. Starting in 2025, Albesiano will lead HRC’s MotoGP project and the ongoing development of the Honda RC213V machine.

With three decades of expertise in racing development, Albesiano comes to HRC after 11 years with the Aprilia MotoGP project. Fabiano Sterlacchini will step in to take his place at the Noale factory.
