McLaren has introduced a unique, one-off livery for this weekend’s United States Grand Prix, showcasing a chrome-inspired design
McLaren is the third team to reveal a special livery for the 2024 United States Grand Prix, after a bald eagle-themed design from Haas and Indiana Jones-inspired one from Alpine.
This marks the fourth livery update for the Woking team in 2024. Earlier in the season, they featured an emoji-themed livery in Japan, a Senna-inspired design in Monaco, and a partially white livery that Lando Norris drove to victory in last month’s Singapore Grand Prix.
For the Austin weekend, McLaren, in partnership with Google, has unveiled a second edition of their stunning chrome-inspired livery, originally introduced at Silverstone in 2023.
Alongside Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri’s cars, chrome accents will also be featuredon the drivers’ race suits.
McLaren heads into the final six rounds of the 2024 season with a 41-point advantage over Red Bull in the constructors’ standings, while Norris trails Max Verstappen by 52 points as the drivers’ championship battle intensifies.
