Katy Perry has been announced as the headline performer for the final night of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.
The concert will take place on Sunday, December 7, at Etihad Park on Yas Island, as part of the Yasalam After-Race Concert series.
A 13-time Grammy-nominated artist, Perry will bring her signature energy to the closing night of the Formula 1 season. Known for global hits like Firework, California Gurls, and Teenage Dream, she holds the title of the highest-selling female artist in Capitol Records’ history, with millions of records sold and billions of streams worldwide.
“I’ll be singing a hybrid of songs … I feel a total responsibility to give the audience that singalong feeling, but I’ll also be introducing a few new ones. I’m really excited about it. Please wear sensible shoes and stay hydrated,” Perry told USA Today.
The American singer joins a long list of global stars who have performed at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix over the years, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Foo Fighters, Muse, Sir Paul McCartney, Aerosmith, and Prince.
This year’s event will mark the 17th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, a key fixture on the Formula 1 calendar since 2009 and the regular host of the season’s final race. In 2024, the event attracted over 190,000 spectators across the weekend, a number that is expected to rise in 2025.
Three more concert acts will be announced for earlier nights of the weekend. All concerts are open to race ticket holders, with Golden Circle upgrades available on the official Abu Dhabi Grand Prix website for closer access to the stage.
