News.gp journalist and a girl with big dreamsThe first images of Haas’ 2025 car, the VF-25, may have been accidentally leaked online after today’s private shakedown at Silverstone.
The team took to the track for its first run ahead of the new season, but despite the event being held behind closed doors, a photo of the car has surfaced on social media.
From what can be seen, the VF-25 looks pretty similar to last year’s VF-24, which isn’t a big surprise. With major rule changes coming in 2026, teams are expected to stick with their current concepts rather than making big changes. Compared to its rivals who have already hit the track, Haas’ car seems to follow a more straightforward evolution rather than any radical design shifts.
The shakedown was carried out by Esteban Ocon, who joins Haas after five seasons with Alpine, and Oliver Bearman, who made two race appearances for the team last year.
However, the biggest talking points from the leaked image is the car’s livery. It features more white than last year’s design, but without an official statement from Haas, it’s unclear if this is the final version or just a temporary test design.
While Haas has not released any official images from the test, the leaked photo has already caught fans’ attention. But until the official launch, no one can be sure if the team has truly shown its 2025 look or if this was just an accidental sneak peek.
