News.gp journalist and a girl with big dreamsF1 TV has introduced its third subscription tier ahead of the upcoming Formula 1 season, promising a lot of new features.
F1 TV has introduced a new subscription tier, F1 TV Premium, which expands on its existing Pro and Access packages. This new option offers 4K Ultra HD/HDR streaming, a Multiview feature, and the ability to watch on up to six devices simultaneously. It will be available on Google Chrome, Apple iOS, Apple TV, and Roku at launch.
The Premium tier includes live coverage of every session across Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 Academy, and Porsche Supercup. Subscribers can choose between different viewing options, such as the official broadcast feed, onboard cameras, and live timing screens. The Multiview feature, available on select devices, allows users to watch multiple feeds at the same time.
“Since its launch, F1 TV has evolved to become one of the most sophisticated streaming platforms in sports,” said Ian Holmes, F1’s Chief Media Rights and Broadcasting Officer.
“F1 TV Premium further elevates the viewing experience by allowing fans to create a personalised platform that enables them to become fully immersed in every incident, wheel-to-wheel battle, and victory across all 24 races.
“This new service signifies our continued commitment to improve our content offering for our fans and creating an experience which is worthy of their passion.”
Alongside the introduction of F1 TV Premium, Laura Winter has been announced as the new main host for F1 TV’s 2025 season coverage, following Will Buxton’s move to Fox Sports’ IndyCar coverage.
She will be joined by James Hinchcliffe, Lawrence Barretto, Alex Jacques, and Jolyon Palmer on commentary, with additional analysis provided by Ruth Buscombe-Divey, Alex Brundle, Davide Valsecchi, and Sam Collins.
