To celebrate F1’s 75th anniversary, the 2025 season will begin with a historical 10-team car launch event in London, marking a break from the traditional individual team launches.
Formula 1 is gearing up for a big, exciting change to kick off the 2025 season as for the first time ever, all 10 teams will come together to unveil their new cars in a single event.
This special celebration, set for February 18, 2025, will take place at London’s O2 Arena, marking the 75th anniversary of Formula 1. The show will start at 20:00 GMT, and every team, driver, and team principal will take the stage to show off their new cars, colors, and driver line-ups.
Fans around the world can watch the event live, with broadcast details to be announced soon. Those who want to see it in person can buy tickets on November 15, 2024, HERE. Prizes vary from £58 to £113 depending on seat location, plus a 2£ booking fee.
Led by Brian Burke, the creative team behind this production has a strong background in putting on big shows, including the Las Vegas Grand Prix ceremonies. The event will also include live entertainment, with special guests and music performances to make it a night to remember.
F1 president and CEO Stefano Domenicali said: “For the first time, we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport and some very special guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing.
"With 2025 set to be a classic season following all the drama so far in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity for fans of all ages to experience up-close the incredible entertainment spectacle that is Formula 1.”
FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem added: “The FIA is delighted to join our colleagues at FOM and all the teams in the staging of the inaugural Formula 1 season launch event.
"The occasion will also serve as a fitting prelude to a celebration of the 75th anniversary of the sport throughout the 2025 season.”
