As Formula 1 continues to evolve, cryptocurrency sponsorships remain an integral part of the sport’s financial landscape. The 2025 season features several teams partnered with major crypto companies, highlighting the growing influence of digital finance in motorsport.
Aston Martin has entered a groundbreaking sponsorship agreement with Coinbase, marking the first time an F1 team has publicly announced a deal fully transacted in cryptocurrency. The partnership is structured entirely in USD Coin (USDC), a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar. The Coinbase logo is prominently displayed on Aston Martin’s cars and driver apparel, reinforcing the brand’s visibility in global motorsport.
Kick Sauber has partnered with CoinPayments, a cryptocurrency payment platform that facilitates crypto-based transactions. This collaboration enables fans to purchase team merchandise and services using digital currencies, further embedding crypto into Formula 1’s commercial ecosystem.

Alpine continues its association with Binance, maintaining a focus on blockchain-based fan engagement initiatives, including fan tokens. The partnership, which began in previous seasons, remains a key part of Alpine’s commercial strategy, allowing fans to interact with the team through digital assets and blockchain technology.
Red Bull Racing, after parting ways with Bybit, has secured a multi-year sponsorship with Gate.io, a cryptocurrency exchange. This partnership focuses on innovative fan engagement initiatives and integrating Gate.io’s branding across Red Bull’s platforms. The deal follows Red Bull’s previous crypto partnerships, emphasizing the team’s commitment to digital finance collaborations.
Beyond individual team deals, Formula 1 itself has renewed its global partnership with Crypto.com, extending it through 2030. The platform has been instrumental in introducing digital asset initiatives to the sport, including the title sponsorship of the Miami Grand Prix.
